The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has been conducting the Class 11th Board Examination every year since 2019. The 2025 board exams are scheduled to take place on March 6, 7, and 8, 2025, with lakhs of students expected to appear for the exams. In this article, we will discuss the exam pattern and the minimum passing marks required for students to pass the JAC Class 11th examination.

Since the JAC Class 11th board exam was introduced, all subject exams have been conducted on the same day at exam centers. Following the same pattern, the 2024 exams were held from February 27 to February 29, 2024, over two shifts each day, and this pattern will be continued for 2025 as well.

In the upcoming exam, students will be required to answer questions based on the complete syllabus, and the passing marks will depend on both theory and practical exams. We’ll also explore how many questions will be asked, the marks assigned to each question, and the passing marks for JAC Class 11th students.

JAC 11th Exam Passing Marks 2025 Criteria

The JAC Class 11th exams for Science, Commerce, and Arts in 2025 were conducted in two parts for each of the major 5 subjects:

1. Objective Section (OMR-Based):
   • The first part of the exam consisted of 40 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each carrying 1 mark.
2. Internal Assessment/Practical Exam:
   • The second part included an internal assessment and practical exam, with 10 marks assigned to each subject (for all major subjects).
3. You need to score 33% in each subject to pass in your board exam.

This pattern applied to all the major subjects across the Science, Commerce, and Arts streams.

The board has issued a notification stating that students must pass in 4 out of 5 subjects and secure a minimum of 17 marks out of 50 in each subject. Only then will the students be considered promoted. If students fail to meet these criteria, they will be marked as failed.

Students are required to perform well in both the objective section and internal assessments to ensure promotion.

Note :- JAC 11th Science, Commerce and Arts के Exam में विद्यार्थी जिनका Total Marks का 33%(JAC 11th Exam Passing Marks)  या उससे अधिक Marks आया है एवं अगर अंकों में बात करें तो जिन विद्यार्थियों का 15 में से 17 Marks आया है, वे झारखंड अधिविध परिषद (JAC) की शिक्षा नीति के अनुसार Pass समझे जाएंगे .
